Hi fellow patients,
I am a college senior majoring in Community Health Education, and also a medical marijuana patient. I am doing some research on the medical application of marijuana for a term project. I am lucky enough to be a part of the California medical marijuana program, and know the benefits of using marijuana. I would greatly appreciate your participation in my survey. Please add this to your medical research study. PMDD is pre-menstrual disphoric disorder.
There currently are not any drugs for PMDD that I'm aware of. Nobody wants to be around me when I have PMDD...nobody. Not my boyfriend not my mom, and not my co-workers. But if I take a toke...I'm happy as a clam.

The only thing I'm aware of that I could do ffor PMDD is take hormones like birth control so my period is less often. I can't do that because I'm addicted to cigaretts. The two combined can cause blood clots, etc.

I have also used marijuana for depression and sometimes kind of like caffiene (before I go to the gym) -it tends to snap me out of my depression and put me in the mood for a workout.

I don't smoke all the time cause I don't like the munchies and I don't like to be tired. Just a toke or two here or there - especially NEEDED during the week prior to my period. I would / do go absolutly nuts since most of the time I don't have it because it is not legal. Which is the most absurd thing in the fucking world. Pardon my french I think I"m getting close to my cycle again. Another week and I'll be really infuriated.

The times I have had it its great - gets rid of the feeling like I want to kill someone. (not that I would actually kill someone). Turn my frown upside down someone PLEASE LEGALIZE IT!!!

AND BY THE WAY, I'VE ALWAYS BEEN FUNCTIONAL - AT SAME JOB FOR 20 YEARS AND I KICK A**.
