hi guys! i have been suffering from insomnia for almost 2 years now. my doctor prescribed me with some sleeping pills which i happened to stop taking it for over a year now because of depression. a friend told me that cannabis can somehow be of much help. is there any truth about it?

Well it's hard if you're already dependant on sleeping pills, though so far its not yet proven that cannabis can cure insomnia, but there is an explanation how cannabis helps you sleep but to cure insomnia I don't think so.

In my own experiences, cannabis does make you go to sleep and helps you stay asleep. Also you wake up, or at least I do, in a relatively good mood.

based on my own experienced, marijuana helps me with my imsomnia
more than anything else. believe me, it's way better than sleeping pills. it may
not work for everyone but it's a worth a try.

i agree, personally speaking, it cured my insomnia completely. i am no longer using it now because i have no more problems going to sleep.

yes it does make you sleep. unlike sleeping pills, it won't make you groggy in the morning. cannabis works really good but just too expensive for long term use.

hi, been wondering about this too since i've been facing the same problem as yours. never tried taking sleeping pills though. i hope someone here can give relevant information about marijuana for insomnia.

as far as i know, insomnia is not a disease. it is just a symptom of sleep disorder. i don't think you need to take cannabis just to have a good night sleep. the best remedy will still be the one prescribed by your doctor.

agree sherwin, its not a disease but in a other hand there is no need to consult a doctor though. just put a little consideration on yourself. don't fight your body if your sleepy. it will lapse your sleeping time period. if its occur then go to sleep. by and by you will be able to sleep as long as you practice to sleep on a right matter and time.
