need your advice

my doctor prescribed me with cannabis as medical treatment for my anxiety problem. since this is my first time to take this drug, is there any possibilities that i can be addicted to it? |

Comments (2)Well yea its a trip outof all 62 channels our local Texas News ch. 7. Last night talked about how many older americans are smoking it. WOW! Yeah and me well I jus celebrated my 3rd year back too life on the 21 of this month. Freak accidet i was a passenger coming hoe from work and the 18 wheeler took us back for a ride but i jus didn't go back I went into the windshield. Estimated speed between 2 vehicles was atleast 125 and before I had my share of prescription drugs, yes without prescription jus for party and fun likemost teen's still do. But after my accident I just had too STOP takin all these pills i couldn't stand it. I was eating atleast 10 to 12 pills a day. Now with 3 kids at the time I was pilled up with no kinds of energy. NOTHING!! But then I was asked to take a hit off a joint and at first I did say no but then i could not hel to stop thinking will it help more than these meds. So u know the way it goes puff puff pass!.. Yea but three years, three main bleeds in my brain I should of been dead, O wait three days life support too I guess I was. Now jus LEGALIZE this stuff so people can get of that "cocaine' bull and put money back into the economy help out the hospital's everyone seems to be money hungry well here is away to come about it. NEVER WILL I STOP SMOKING SO MAKE ME AND MY FAMILY LIFE'S AS MISERABLE AS U WANT I AM NO GANG BANGER JUS A ORDINARY USA CITIZEN ALL MY 27 YEARS OF LIFE SO ANY LAW MAN WANNA KNOCK AT MY DOOR LETS GO AND FUCK UP SOMETHING THAT THE LORD BROUGHT ME BACK FOR!!! A lot of the time, people get phycologically addicted to marijuana, however there is nothing in it to make you addicted.
Its all about the dosage you take..
Please follow your physician advice, it is a risky one.

in rhode island a dr. have nothing to do with where you get marijuana, how much you use ect. You just get your card and grow it yourself or have someone grow it for you.
i'm sure that your doctor has also told you exactly how you should take the medicine right? it is very important that doctors should monitor their patients closely for these to avoid incidents like addiction.
marijuana can somehow have effects even if taken as prescribed. but still, prescriptions are safe for patients who actually have prescriptions for them so it's all up to you.
On my own point of view. Its all up to you if you take it more often. It depends on how you take it and if the dosage are right as prescribe by your doctor.
maybe! but as prescribe it won't be addictive. of course doctor won't give you dosage that could possibly make you addictive. as long as you take it according to the prescription then there's is no reason to worried about.
Agree with you with the dosage by the doctor prescribing you. But for the first time it was a hard time adjusting it since you new to the effect of this one was new to you. Take it moderately and make sure you can handle the effect.
i think that this marijuana medication should be taken exactly how they are prescribed to avoid being addicted to it. it is also very important to talk to your doctor as soon as you feel like craving more on the same drug.
i have a friend who got addicted to prescription medication (marijuana). she often lied to his doctor just so she can continue to get the medication. too bad...
yeah that's very common thing to do for a person who got addicted to marijuana medications. sometimes they would even go to different doctors so that they can stock prescriptions and can continue buying it.
nope, because each prescription has it's own dosage upon taking it. not unless you'll take it more than what is prescribed to you, then possibly you'll get addicted to it.
no i don't think so.. as you have mentioned, it was prescribed to you by your doctor. so meaning to say, he/she has given you the only amount of dosage that you needed to treat your medical condition.
