Pot might be used to treat a lot of medical conditions. But are there any adverse effects in using pot for medical purposes?

yes there is, but no serious adverse effect reported so far. the adverse effect for using marijuana are within the range of effects tolerated for other medications.

there are lots of adverse effects that you can imagine. whether you smoked it or taken as a capsule just like any other existing synthetic herbal drugs.

there are no adverse affects.

Pot does not actually influence the mind, and everything comes from the mind. All your good and bad experiences.

If you believe that these good and bad things come from outside of your mind than you will never find stillness.

Stillness is very important to talk about here. It seems like most people use the medicine for stillness.

But does stillness come from you, or does it come from outside of you?

Does it come from not you?

Does it come from outside?

If it comes from outside then you should frolick in the forest and sing to the birds.

If it comes from inside then you should transform your body into a factory!

But if it comes from action then you will be okay.

How can there be adverse effects from what you say is a good thing, "treating medical conditions."

If you created the action.

I don't think you're really treating medical conditions actually in this instance.

Your just questioning if a good thing can have a bad result.

Or you perhaps are wondering if a good thing is actually good.

I will not say that a good thing is actually good.

If it were actually good then it would get better and better!

Because it is actually good...like a genie. But we know that you only have so many wishes then its gone.

Same thing here.

But a bad thing..."treating symptoms" is not good.

Just treating symptoms is a bad thing I would say.

That is in line with eastern knowledge of medical science.

One should seek to remove the cancor from the root or source.

The source here most generally is the mind. So removing the mental cogitation of pain is supreme.

Removing the view of the mind itself is attainable. That is the point of meditation where the mind is not meditating on the mind. Using stillness that way is like very useless. It is like trying to sharpen a wooden sword with a stick.

The wooden sword is useless because of the stick.

I think that the only adverse affect here is that you would get annoyed.

Medical marijuana has been around for a long time.

Do we know of anyone having bad effects from it?

Like your question is posed, are there any bad effects: their aren't.

Of course there is adverse effects. You are going to be stoned every time you use the medicine which can impair your judgment. If you are smoking it then you are also doing damage to your lungs. Most smoked marijuana is done without filters which makes it much more harmful then cigarettes. You might want to consider food products or use of a vaporizer if you wanted to reduce some of the harmful effects. That won't help with the effects of being high though. Many people in severe pain though would take that any day over dealing with chronic pain.

actually i found an article about marijuana advantage. it can cure lung tumor and other cancerous illness. but you have to follow certain amount. it is addictive so you are not allowed to take it as many as you want.

the adverse effect of marijuana is when you become chemically dependent on it. although some can be cured with this remedy, it can still cause physical side effects when used in large doses.

I've heard about it also. The most common I guess is that this marijuana could do something about your vital organs. I think if you take it moderately and on medical purposes it wouldn't be that serious right?
